General Rules and Conditions

The Early Bird rate is available to those who pay before September 30, 2024. The Regular rate applies in all cases after this deadline.

Members of the Czech Society for Mechanics receive a 10% discount on any of the aforementioned prices.

Written cancellations of participation sent via email to Jan Papuga are accepted no later than November 1, 2023, with a service charge of 1250 CZK / 50 EUR applied in such cases. No refunds are available after that date, and the cancellation fee equals 100% of the amount to be paid.

After notification, a substitute can replace a registered participant who cannot attend at no additional cost. It is also possible to share some of the longer course variants among several employees who replace each other over a given period. In such cases, please list their names for individual days in the message box during the application process. For late replacements, please inform Jan Papuga of such changes.

In case the rules imposed by the Czech government or the Czech Technical University in Prague (which provides the room for the lectures) prevent the workshop from being held on-site, the organizers will inform all participants who ordered the on-site variant, and the workshop will switch entirely to the online mode. Participants are entitled to switch from the on-site variant to the online variant by notifying Jan Papuga no later than November 18, 2024. The difference in price between the on-site and online variants will be refunded to individual payers within one month of the announcement. The organizers will keep all participants informed of any potential changes as soon as possible.

The organizers are entitled to switch the mode of presentation of individual lecturers from on-site to online. Such changes are expected to occur only in worst-case scenarios (e.g., quarantine of the lecturer, inability to cross national borders, etc.).

If any lecturers cannot deliver their presentation, the difference in price between the remaining provided lectures and the ordered variant will be fully refunded to the payer.

Record from the workshop

In the case of this option, access to the recorded lectures is provided in the Recordings section once the workshop concludes and the videos are ready for release (approximately two to four weeks after the course). The videos available there can be played in an internet browser once the registered user is logged in. This service will remain available at least until the end of 2027. If it is terminated before that time, registered users will be informed via their registered emails, and a link to download the videos will be provided.

Please note the conditions of use for the recordings, which are presented in the Recordings sectionsection. You can find information about cost-effective multi-user bundles in this table
